Why Chaiya for Father's Day?
Father's Day dinner works best somewhere that doesn't feel like a production line. Chaiya is a proper restaurant, unhurried service, food made to order, and a menu that gives every dad at the table something to get genuinely interested in.
Food worth talking about
Our menu covers the whole range of Thai cooking, from wok-tossed Pad Thai and fragrant green curry to our signature Firecracker Tamarind Chicken and Moo Yang grilled pork. Sharing dishes are available if you'd rather eat family-style. The food arrives as it's ready, not all at once, which makes for a more relaxed evening.
The bar
Beyond the complimentary Singha, our full drinks list includes Thai-inspired cocktails, wines, soft drinks and additional beers. If Dad's more of a whisky person, we can help there too.
The atmosphere
Chaiya is warm, relaxed and not too loud, the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation across the table. It works for two people or a larger family group. If you're coming as a bigger party, give us a call and we'll make sure you're seated together comfortably.
What Is Singha Beer?
Singha (pronounced 'Sing') is Thailand's oldest and most iconic lager, brewed since 1933 by Boon Rawd Brewery in Bangkok. It is a full-bodied, slightly bitter lager, 5% ABV, with a clean finish that pairs well with the bold, spiced flavours of Thai food. The lion on the glass is a Singha, a mythical creature from Thai-Buddhist tradition and a symbol of strength.
If you've eaten at a Thai restaurant in Thailand itself, you've almost certainly had a Singha. It's as much a part of the Thai dining experience as the food, and for Father's Day weekend, it's on us.
Book Your Father's Day Table
We're open across the full Father's Day weekend , Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12pm to 10:30pm. Father's Day itself falls on Sunday 15 June in the UK in 2026, so we're running the offer across the whole weekend to make sure every family can join us at a time that suits.
